Musik-ofilia is an extension of " Kai's Mirror World " a graphic novel in progress by June Yeo. In this work, June plays the main character, Kai, and their interactions with Jasper (an artist), Jade (a writer), and June (a drummer) who live in the woods. Using video, music and performance, the work is sonically melancholy and visually compelling in its exploration of gender & connection. Trigger Warning - use of fake blood during the performance.
