Screening: The Story of the Dancing Heart
Free to attend.
A poetic, flowing Heart dances with ease day and night. A busy, curious Mind sets off on a journey to learn to dance as rhythmically and as elegantly as Heart. But the more desperate he becomes, the harder it gets. Maybe Mind will never encapsulate Heart’s lightness and innate delight. Or maybe music will show Mind the ways of the Heart.

The Guy on the Bed by Mike Hoolboom and XRAY(S) by Jorge Lozano
The Guy on the Bed by Mike Hoolboom
“News from another pandemic, the one that ‘changed everything’ before it fell out of the news cycle and collective memory, except for the newly infected, or those who, like myself, managed a new life after death. Based on a text by David Wojnarowicz.” - Mike Hoolboom
•
XRAY(S) by Jorge Lozano
“Visually resplendent, and philosophically political, or is it politically philosophical? It features the flow, the intensity, and the rhythm of thought itself, or perhaps even: the rhythm of new thought, of a new idea, the momentum required to overcome the dust of the past, in order to invent something else “ - Quote by Mike Hoolboom
